4. MUJI, Rizzoli.
I declare fan of MUJI, the Japanese culture, its unbranded and minimalist designs, their boxes, binders, notebooks, pens, wooden toys, its sophisticated bullshit ... 240 pages explaining the creative development of many of its most emblematic products and its brand philosophy. Any source of inspiration.
5. Wreck This Journal by Keri Smith.
Journal of mischief. It seems to me vital to always carry my notebook with me or my little diary where I point to the smallest detail, but this is the best. One of my favorite designers give us the guidelines to be bad and unruly. Encourages us to pintorrejear, cutting, wetting, gluing, creasing, making holes, coffee stained pages, and cross out mistakes and above all to be very creative. If your day has been stressful to the core, or has pursued a black cloud, you're bored as an oyster, or have you discussed with your boss, then Pour over open your newspaper and you like a 3 year old child. Highly interactive, fun and therapeutic.
